Robla School District has recently started utilizing Bark to add another layer of protection for students when accessing the Internet. Bark also offers parents a service to help monitor their child's social media accounts for various threats and dangers. Check out the Bark for Schools section for more information.

Smoke Advisory

Because of the unhealthy air quality that continues to plague the Sacramento area due to smoke from the Camp Fire in Butte County, we will be closing all schools within the Robla School District on Friday November 16. School will not reopen until after the Thanksgiving break on Tuesday November 27th.

Taylor Stands Up to Bullying

Training and assemblies begin this week at Taylor Street School.with Socially Responsible Skills of the PBIS Stop, Walk, Talk program designed to proactively manage problem behavior.

Taylor Street Under Construction

Construction has begun at Taylor Street as the old classroom portables are brought down to make way for a new classroom building. The new building, provided by Bond Measure K, is expected to open In January 2019!

Strings 2018-19 Signup!

The Robla Strings Program is a program through the California State University Sacramento (CSUS) Strings Program that provides carefully structured group lessons in violin and cello for Robla School District students in the fourth grade and up. Gardens Sprout at Taylor

Nearly a dozen volunteers from The United Way arrived in the morning to build three gardens for our Taylor Street students. By noon, the volunteers had built two large vegetable gardens and a small flower garden next to our "Friendship" bench, where 4th grade onlookers watched the gardeners work.

We are so grateful for the many campus beautification projects completed by United Way volunteers who give their time and energy to make our school a great place to be.

Robla Families Attend Annual Care Fair

Taylor Street Families join together for the annual Care Fair on Saturday, September 22, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.. This community fair, sponsored by the United Way, offers free family fun and information for the day at the Robla Community Park located at 625 Bell Avenue.

Silver Award for Taylor Street School

Taylor Street School was recognized by the California PBIS Coalition as a Silver Status School.Now entering our fourth year of practicing Positive School Climate and Behavior, Taylor Street School was awarded Silver Medal status by the California PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports) Coalition for demonstrating positive school climate, improved student behavior leading to improved academic achievement, relationships and decrease in behavior problems.
