We teach behavior expectations in the same manner we teach academics. Everyone across the school site proactively and positively teaches positive School-wide Behavior Expectations so students are successful at learning appropriate behaviors in all school settings. We continue using positive, fun lessons and activities to teach and practice being Respectful, Responsible, Really Safe and Ready to Learn.
Taylor Street School's Silver Medal represents recognition of successful practice of PBIS with fidelity. Data shows improved relationships among students and adults, decreased behavior problems, improved academics, attendance, teacher retention, and a perceived sense of safety and teacher efficacy.
