Robla Pride: Kimberly Udobia, Glenwood Elementary School

Introducing our new employee recognition program, Robla Pride, shining a spotlight on remarkable individuals who embody the spirit of our district, and either attended Robla Schools or who have worked in the district for 15+ years (or both!)

This week, meet Kimberly Udobia, a dedicated teacher at Glenwood Elementary School , with an impressive 23-year journey in the Robla School District!

Why Robla Pride?
"I have Robla pride because one of my former students is now a teaching colleague. It's an honor to be part of her educational journey and work alongside her as a fellow Robla teacher."

Years of Service and Roles:
* 10 years: 5th grade
* 1 year: Kindergarten/ELD
* 1 year: Kindergarten/Intervention
* 12 years: Kindergarten
* 1 year: 2nd grade

Why Robla?
"After working in a larger school district in Silicon Valley, I chose Robla for its small, intimate, and supportive atmosphere. Joining the 'Robla Family' of educators who commit to serving their careers in the district was the icing on the cake."

Enjoyment in the Job:
"I love teaching in Robla because of my students. While I teach and encourage them, I also learn and am inspired by them."

Inspiration Source:
"I inspire others through my extensive travels, constantly experiencing new things and promoting lifelong learning."

Most Rewarding Aspect:
"Working with and supporting my students, along with my certificated and non-certificated colleagues, while serving as an RTA representative within Robla."

Robla's Uniqueness:
"Robla is unique as a small independent school district with a dedicated vision to serve and support the students and families of the community."

Let's celebrate Kimberly Udobia and her incredible contributions to our Robla family!
